Exploring Life, Earth and Physical Sciences

 

Workshop Series Description

 

v     Participants will construct through topic of study, authentic and meaningful ways to promote and intentionally provide

      science experiences for young children.

v     Create a community for learning science.

v     Learn that science is more than isolated facts.

 

 

                                       1.   Participants attending receive 10 clock hours of Approved training

 

                                       2.  Workshop hours are Step Up To Quality Aproved for One, Two and Three Star Centers

                                              (specialized preschool training)

 

                                       3.  Workshop hours can be used as pre-requisite to taking other Step Up To Quality Approved Trainings

Workshop Series

"Learning at Home with School and Community Support"

 

 

This series addresses the "Big Idea" of parent involvement

This series is designed in four modules to address the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards in English Language Arts

  Module #1 - Emergent Literacy (2.5 hours)

  Module#2 -  Emergent Writing  (2.5 hours) 

         Module#3 - Print Rich Environment (2.5 hours)

     Module#4 - Phonemic Awareness (2.5hours)

  • Receive  10 clock hours  of pre-requisite Step Up To Quality training
